You can never have too many rabbits
Just a couple of things I drew to submit to a sketch sale. They were both priced (and sold) at $20, which would be even nicer if the money had gone to me instead of it being a gallery charity event.

"Burlesque Life Drawing Comes to Ottawa!
When many artists think "life drawing," they think of sterile rooms,
bad lighting, and bored, silent, models with nary a hint of
personality. Dr. Sketchy's Anti Art School is here to change all
that.
Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School is the little New York art event that
became a movement. Started in 2005 by artist Molly Crabapple, the
concept is simple: artists bring pencil and pad and we'll bring you
the most beautiful, extraordinary and outrageous models for your
sketching delight. We invite burlesque dancers, roller derby girls,
circus performers and we let you draw them for a full three hours.
Interspersed with posing are games and drawing contests where you can
win booze or prizes.
The debut session will take place on Monday, October 26, 2009 from
7:00 PM – 10:00 PM at the Mercury Lounge. Our models and
entertainment for the evening are the fabulous Sin Sisters, with
delectable treats by Little Cakes. Join us for an evening of art and
opulence!"
Somebody obviously crawled into my thoughts and designed this event around things I like :'D
Any other Ottawanians think they'd be down?
Here's the stuff I've been doin for the CHaracter Of the Week contest over at Conceptart.org. It's really pushing me to do more in way of digital painting and less with filters (not to mention remember things about realism that my brain has been trying to push out), plus it's lots of fun!

Decided to inflict some more gold-leaf on myself and everyone.

Whoah, I dropped the ball on that one. Here, have a lot of stuff! Because I have been heavily neglecting my post-ly duties.

Since I'm gonna be up for a while working on this thing I might as well share the progress! Not lookin too shabby so far I think.

Here's my project for the day! Getting the character's done for my final project. Here's 2 of the 5, though they're both missing their little sidekicks.
